CAP is a community response to the devastating impact of child maltreatment.
CAP is a community response to the broad
& devastating impact that child maltreatment
has on individuals & the community.
CAP works to foster a more effective and efficient community response to child maltreatment.
Take part in our annual Shoot Trap for CAP & CAP, Cabernet & Calcutta Fundraiser.
A gift to the Children’s Advocacy Project (CAP) is an investment in the lives of the children we serve.
Child advocacy centers bring together all the services kids need to help them heal after abuse. The Children’s Advocacy Project (CAP) was the first child advocacy center in Wyoming to receive the prestigious National Children’s Alliance Accreditation.
You can make a difference in the life of a child! Join us in making Natrona County and Wyoming a community that does not tolerate child abuse and readily helps those whose lives are changed because of it.
At CAP we give children a chance to let their dreams of a happy, hopeful future take root.
We protect, treat & counsel survivors of severe child maltreatment and support families as their child begins to heal from abuse.
CAP is here to assist children in their journey from victim to survivor. Hear Maddie's story to learn more about that process.
Friday, June 3, 2022 | Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Held at the Rib and Chop House, 256 S Center St, Casper, WY 82601
The evening will include entertainment from comedian Vinnie Montez, happy hour, hors d’oeuvres, and a Calcutta to bid on your favorite shooting teams for the next day's trap shoot. Tickets are $65.00 per person or you can choose from several sponsorship opportunities.
Vinnie Montez is a Colorado native, he grew up in the largely homogeneous community of Boulder, CO, which prides itself on being a bastion of cultural diversity, but which is honestly just weird. Growing up, he always wanted to be a police officer. As a 20 plus year veteran of law enforcement, his experiences as a cop and his Mexican heritage are the foundation for his comedy: you just can’t make some of this stuff up.
Come out and support the Children’s Advocacy Project (CAP). All proceeds benefit the Children's Advocacy Project.
Tickets available for purchase online below or at 350 N. Ash or call 307-232-0159.
